This song has many contributors. Composed in 1941 by Katherine K. Davis, it was popularized in 1958 by Harry Simeone Chorale. But it's especially in the winter of 1977 that Bing Crosby's television special propelled it to the rank of a true Christmas standard, in a duet with David Bowie. It has since known many versions, including this one performed by the Swedes Nils Landgren and Jeanette Köhn in volume 6 of the compilation "Christmas With My Friends". This version is distinguished by its more marked jazz side and finely chosen chords than in the TV show. For the occasion, I have the pleasure of being accompanied by the talented Guilbauds in a typically Swedish environment, at the controls of this splendid inlaid satin mahogany Gaveau 126.

Elle a connu depuis de nombreuses versions, dont celle-ci interprétée par les suédois Nils Landgren et Jeanette Köhn dans le volume 6 de la compilation "Christmas With My Friends". Cette version se distingue par son côté jazz plus marqué et ses accords plus finement choisis que dans l'émission de télé.
