The artist exposes fragments of the human soul, formulas of pathos that man has always experienced throughout history and has always had to deal with – fear, loneliness, habit – personified in the human figure. The exhibition's title almost represents a repetition, as the artist puts it: "it is precisely this double uncertainty that partly describes my inner state. Limbo squared. I think that right now, we can't even land in Limbo anymore; we're already there; at least these are my emotions and sensations, my experience. So now, we go through the uncertainty of things that already seemed to live in the deepest mire of our being. [...]”

Denis Riva treats the gallery space as if it was a large canvas and proposes in the main room an imposing unpublished installation formed by a group of silhouettes painted on wood that relate to each other; fluid, indefinite figures that seem to have detached themselves from a drawing on paper to acquire three-dimensionality. [...] In the artist's practice, man is always undefined, faceless, lost in an existential dimension that lives outside of time. [...] The result is often a human-animal hybrid, a monster resulting from contaminations that defy the classifications of the natural world.

Atipografia in an innovative cultural project founded and directed by Elena dal Molin @@iliadeelena. It reopened its doors to the public last May 19 with renewed energy, also expressed by the immense functional adaptation works by the AMAA studio @amaa_office_studio.
