Legendary kwaito artist Tokollo Magesh Tshabalala has died.
Tshabalala was a member of the kwaito band TKZee.
In a statement, his family says Tshabalala died this morning as a result of an epileptic seizure.
The family has requested privacy at this time.
Tshabalala, Kabelo Mabalane and Zwai Bala rose to prominence in the mid 1990s with their hit Phalafala.
They went on to produce more hits as a group before pursuing solo careers.
Tshabalala's family says more details will be shared in due course.
