Learn All 12 Dominant Seventh Chords in 10 minutes! | Bass Guitar Lesson

Hopefully you have watched the first video in this series on the 12 Major and Minor Triads. If not, start with that video and then return to this one. Dominant seventh chords are essentially major triads with an added Minor Seven interval on top. Put another way, this added note is 2 half steps (or 1 full step) away from the top octave. Dominant Sevenths are essentially chords for all genres of Music, not just Jazz. I recommend practicing these chords in The Circle Of Fourths, which naturally groups them in to families that share the same, or very similar left hand fingering patterns. Follow my directions in the video closely and follow the TABs to get the most out of this lesson! :)
