Le pont de Trinquetaille

Ensemble, nous sommes le collectif PZZ. Juliette Larochette travaille sur la bande sonore filmographique, notamment via des réalisations de diaporamas sonores. Tandis qu’Anaïs Castaings explore les temps de pose longue en photographie en privilégiant la durée d’une action pour la prise de vues d’une image. Le mélange de nos deux expérimentations se rejoigne dans une recherche sur le paysage et l’expérience du territoire par la photographie.
L’idée de ce projet est de ramener du poétique par le paysage afin de créer des micros scènes cinématographiques. Partition est un projet sur la transversalité entre son et image. À ces photographies, nous ajoutons un filtre qu’est la bande sonore. C’est le son qui, une fois passé dans le prisme de l’observation du paysage, crée une image de ce paysage. On décèle alors plusieurs regards du temps en un: le temps de la contemplation du paysage, le temps de la fabrication du morceau, le temps d’écoute de ce morceau, la durée de prise de vues, le temps du récit qui s’installe.
Durant trois semaines, nous avons arpenté la ville d’Arles pour prendre des images à la chambre photographique. Nous avons cherché à rendre compte du caractère cinématographique de ce
paysage. Nous avons réalisé une création musicale pour chaque prise de vues s’inspirant des images, du lieu et des sons enregistrés in situ. Nous vous invitons à scanner le QR code pour découvrir la musique associée aux photographies.
Partition est un échange entre l’univers musical et l’univers photographique, amenant le spectateur à une expérience autre de ces images. Un espace qui n’existe que dans l’imaginaire individuel, à la fois porté par la réalité de la photographie et de sa bande son et le vagabondage de l’esprit du spectateur dans son référentiel de souvenirs.



Together, we are PZZ collective. Juliette Larochette focuses on the movie’s soundtrack, in particular through the production of sound slideshows while, Anaïs Castaings explores the times from long exposure in photography with prioritising on the duration of an action for the shooting of an image. The combination of our two experiences gets its utmost in a research on the landscape and the experience of the territory by photography.
The aim of this project is to bring back the poetic through the landscape in order to create micro cinematographic scenes. Partition is a project on cross-over between sound and image. To these pictures we join a filter called the soundtrack. It’s the sound which, once passed through the prism of observing the landscape, creates an image of this landscape. We then suggest several views of time in one: the time of contemplation of the landscape, the time of the making of the sound piece, the time of listening to this piece, the shooting time, time of the story that sets in, and all different flavours associated.
During three weeks, we roamed the city of Arles to take pictures with a large format view camera. We tried to take into the cinematographic character of this landscape. We made a musical creation for each shot, inspired by images, place, sounds recorded in situ. We invite you to scan the QR code to discover the music associated with the pictures. Partition is an exchange between the musical universe and the photographic universe, leading the viewer to another experience of these images. A space that only exists in his imagination, a combination of your reality and his personal feelings and emotions.
