"Joy" by internationally acclaimed artist Geert Maas

Internationally acclaimed artist Geert Maas works in two and three dimensions in a variety of media living in Kelowna, BC. His disciplines include sculpture, painting, reliefs, and medallic art.

Geert Maas was born in The Netherlands, where he attended Academies of Art in The Hague. In 1979, Maas moved to Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, with his family. There, he and his wife Elly created the Geert Maas Sculpture Gardens and Gallery which features one of the largest collections of bronze sculptures in Canada and a diverse selection of his other artwork.

Geert Maas' skillful and inspired use of a wide range of materials marks him as one of Canada's most dynamic and versatile artists. His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions and are represented in prestigious public, corporate, and private art collections worldwide.
