Yes, winter finally arrived here in Texas, but spring will be here before we know it. It’s fascinating -- seeing old oak leaves being pushed off, as new bright green foliage develops and catches the early morning light. Blocking in preliminary foliage on a sky that has a lovely blend… can be a little nerve-wracking! (I’m using an old manky mop brush for these leaves.)
