Today we're going to look at the popular video posted of bass virtuoso and legend Victor Wooten posing the question "How Many Keys Are There?" Spoiler alert: There are 30 different keys.
Or are there??
In this video I'm going to break down the music theory behind this claim and look at the various perspective's on how we might measure the number of musical keys. We'll look at the circle of fifths, the chromatic scale, the number of sharps and flats in a key, double sharps, double flats and a whole lot of other theory concepts.
