Blue Rain Gallery: Introducing the Markl Arizona Collection

The collection features contemporary, Native American Art made by living artists Tammy Garcia (Santa Clara Pueblo), Russell Sanchez (San Ildefonso Pueblo), Al Qoyawayma (Hopi), Felix Vigil (Jicarilla Apache/Jemez Pueblo), Les Namingha (Hopi/Zuni Pueblo), and Linda Cain (Santa Clara Pueblo).

Work in the collection ranges from traditional, coil-built pottery and mixed-media painting, to bronze sculpture and glass. One of the most note-worthy pieces included is a collaborative glass vessel made by Tammy Garcia and Preston Singletary (Tlingit) for their exhibition "Visions in Glass," that debuted at Blue Rain Gallery, March 2005.
