Interview with Marion Gautier de Charnacé and Antonin Monié

À l'occasion du spectacle « Créer aujourd’hui » imaginé par Aurélie Dupont pour mettre à l’honneur la création contemporaine, la jeune danseuse Tess Voelker, qui évolue au sein du Nederlands Dans Theater, propose Clouds Inside, un pas de deux qui fait la part belle au rêve et à l’enfance, dansé par Marion Gautier de Charnacé et Antonin Monié. Le magazine Octave s’entretient avec les deux danseurs du Ballet de l’Opéra pour évoquer la chorégraphe, son langage, et le sens de Clouds Inside. En cette période particulière, ils nous partagent leur plaisir de retrouver la scène et reviennent sur leur travail de répétition. Ils évoquent enfin les rôles qu’il interprètent : la rencontre d’un homme-métronome et d’une femme qui vit la tête dans les nuages.

On the occasion of the production "Créer aujourd'hui", devised by Aurélie Dupont to highlight contemporary creation, young dancer Tess Voelker, hailing from the Nederlands Dans Theater, proposes Clouds Inside, a pas de deux that gives pride of place to dreams and childhood, danced by Marion Gautier de Charnacé and Antonin Monié. Octave magazine interviews the two dancers from the Opera's Ballet to discuss the choreographer, her language and the meaning of Clouds Inside. In this unusual period, they share with us their pleasure of returning to the stage and look back on their rehearsal work. They also talk about the roles they interpret: the meeting between a man-metronome and a woman who lives with her head in the clouds.
