The neighborhood of Cassava Piece is situated in the uptown region of Kingston, adjacent to Constant Spring, flanking both sides of the Constant Spring Gully.

It falls into the category of what some term an 'uptown ghetto': an area lacking in proper infrastructure, grappling with violence, characterized by zinc fences, modest dwellings, narrow stony pathways, a large population of children, a shortage of playgrounds, and limited opportunities.

In this community, we've successfully established an Education Center at 5 Cassava Piece Road, situated within the premises of the 'Old Clinic.' The building had suffered significant damage from a hurricane and remained neglected and unused for many years.
