Our insane Moroccan street food tour in Fes started off with one of the most popular dishes in Morocco, tagine. Trying tagine for the first time in Morocco was a real treat! Fez tagines are unlike any other city, sweet and salty with mouth-watering flavours, rich and tasty, this was the perfect place to try tajine for the first time in Morocco!

The Fes old medina is an insane maze of alleys, full of all kinds of popular Moroccan street foods, shopping, and more shopping! Wandering around, trying not to get lost, you can find the best street food in Morocco, from sfenj donuts and fresh sweet mint tea, to desserts and home-made soups. A very popular food to eat in Fes and Morocco is harira soup. We tasted this hearty soup at a local shop also selling cow head meat to go along with it. This insane Moroccan street food was delicious and so flavourful, a must stop for any Fez street food tour for sure!
