David proposed to me five years ago this month, and I wanted to finally pull together this footage to share the story!

My David doesn’t like the spotlight, but he made a very special exception that day. He decided to surprise me and propose on stage at #BenaroyaHall, which seats over 2,200 people!

Immediately following my performance during the show, my own Prince Charming appeared with a dashing grin, a stunning bouquet and a beckoning hand as he led me to center stage. He delivered his proposal with such poise and love that night, and those moments are forever engrained in my memory. (Plus…doesn't he quote Mr. Darcy so well! *swoon*) I hope that by sharing this video, everyone can share in this timeless moment. (LMK in the comments if you were there with us too!)

And I'm so grateful that he also gave many people a precious memory as well, including many of our dear family and friends! In fact, I *still* have people coming up to me at the piano when I play in public, and say that they were there that night at the #TenGrands show!!

Babe, that night, YOU were the STAR of the show! You did an amazing job, and it’s such fun to share this facet of you for those who haven’t seen it yet, or who want to see it again!! ????

P.S. For months, David had secretly arranged all the details behind the scenes with the amazing team of TEN GRANDS SEATTLE, who generously wove this surprise into their May 2018 program! I also want to express my thanks once more to Michael Allen Harrison, Steve and Kathy Dewalt, Greg Tamblyn, Peter Van Houten and so many others who contributed to this moment! What a treasured memory!
