I took the DJI Ronin 4D 8K — a $12,000 Hollywood-style cinema camera — onto a real commercial set to see if it lives up to the hype. It's one of the most ambitious cameras ever made, with built-in stabilization, LiDAR autofocus, and a design that feels straight out of sci-fi. But is it actually useful… or just a cinematic flex?
