Rihanna’s tweet on India's farmers' protest brought global attention to the issue with international figures like Greta Thunberg, Meena Harris, Mia Khalifa, Amanda Cerny, and the likes lending their support to the farmers' movement. While many trolls left sexist, racist and abusive remarks in the guise of ‘India’s internal matter', Bollywood actors and sports stars like Sachin Tendulkar also condemned the tweets.
