Jazz piano heavyweight & jazz piano professor at the conservatories in Cologne, Stuttgart & Berlin.

Hubert performed with greats like Clark Terry, Benny Bailey, Don Menza, Johnny Griffin, Art Farmer, Slide Hampton, Toots Thielemans, Ack van Rooyen & Bob Brookmeyer.

He was awarded the WDR Jazz Prize for improvisation in 2008.

Hubert recorded multiple award-winning trio albums for the exquisite PIROUET record label with John Riley & John Goldsby.
