Here's an easy 4 bar walking bass line to a static D minor seven chord. My favorite method for walking over one chord for many measures is to "approach the fifth", either by ascending or descending to it. This exercise can be expanded into higher, or even lower octaves if you have a 5-string bass! Transpose it to all 12 keys and you'll be good to go! :)
