How to Rescue a Pastel Painting - Beginner Friendly Tutorial

Have you ever wondered how to rescue a failed pastel painting? This happens to every artist once in awhile and there is a simple technique you can use to freshen up a painting that you have overworked, or in my case a piece of unsanded paper that has too much texture or "pattern".

So, don't give up and this technique can save you money be reclaiming those pieces that you may have tossed out.
