Today lets look at a great way on how to practice lead guitar. We make lead guitar harder than it has to be!!! If we take the G minor pentatonic scale and create a groove, we then can start playing small phrases with in that G minor pentatonic scale. This will help us with our timing and phrasing. STOP practicing scales up and down and start creating movement with in the scale. This is an intermediate lead guitar lesson. But a guitar player that's just staring to solo will definitely get some ideas from this lead guitar lesson. I say embrace the scale that we know and love(pentatonic scale). Many of our guitar hero's use the structure of the pentatonic scale in their guitar solo's!!! This blues rock style is the foundation of my, and many others guitar playing!
