https://www.patreon.com/loisdavidsonart https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/OwlsAndFlowersArt Today's demo could easily be used for a Christmas or Holiday/Midwinter card design, paint it then print out your small copies to turn into card! It is a watercolour painting tutorial for a wonderful snowy sunset landscape scene inspired by a photo from Pixabay https://pixabay.com/photos/snow-sunset-trees-field-snow-field-6055660/
I used a limited palette of Cotman raw and burnt sienna, indigo, sepia and paynes grey. I used various brushes including the extras large and medium Pro Arte Ron Ranson Hake brushes, 3/4" flat brush and a fine unbranded Chinese calligraphy brush, otherwise known as a rat liner. My board is at an angle of about 45 degrees tilt.
My paper is 100% cotton Saunders Waterford, cold pressed, 140lb/300g weight, 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm. Thanks for watching, and happy painting!
