There are a lot of ways to make an armature for sculptures but I really wanted to share my process. It has changed a bit over the years and it probably will again eventually. I hope this video will be helpful to someone. ????

Building a sturdy armature is essential to me. Making your sculpture on a strong frame assures it will hold its shape and will prevent it front tipping over or cracking in the oven.

Materials I used:
- Aluminum foil and tape
- Aluminum and steel wires (8,16, 24 gauge)
- Masking tape
- Drill
- Pliers
- Hot glue gun
- Clay adhesive
- Sculpey ultra light
