Fierce fighting continues in and around the besieged city of Bakhmut, as Ukraine and Russia appear to be battling ammunition shortages and mounting casualties.

Scouts from the 227th Territorial Defense Battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Bakhmut captured two fighters from the Russian private military company Wagner.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Operative ZSU" by publishing a corresponding video.

From 24 February 2022 to 5 March 2023, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated an estimated 153,770 Russian soldiers, including 650 over the last 24 hours.
