Homesickness or mourning to the Homeland march is the Russian military march the first records of which has appeared in 1905. Unfortunately, the name of composer who wrote this march is unknown and there are many versions who could be behind the creation. Nevertheless, the march was and is used by Russian military and has its own rich history of usage.
P.S: The homesickness march or mourning to the Homeland are my subjective translations of the title. Unfortunately there is problem that there is no accurate equivalent word in English that would define Russian word тоска,so I came up with two variants.
The audio is not mine, I downloaded it on this site: https://www.russian-records.com/details.php?image_id=189
First photo depicts the Russian soldiers in Liaoyang in the times of Russo-Japanese war and second and third photographies depict Russian soldiers in the First World war.
