Day 14 - A Little Bird in a Hat Candle Holder

Meet today's ceramic bird-it still needs a name! Share your name ideas in the comments.
I started sculpting early in the morning to dry it in the dehydrator to the green leather-hard stage, making it easier to carve the details.
The bird made from a single piece of clay, but I combined two types of clay for this piece: black clay for the hat and a warm-toned, yellowish clay for the body.
