Join me as I spend a full day exploring Bangkok, riding the BTS Skytrain to different neighborhoods and walking through some interesting areas of the city. This video takes you through real Bangkok street life, from markets to the streets at night. Watch If you want to see what the downtown area of Bangkok is like and also how the skytrain works.
I start the journey by jumping on the Bangkok BTS Skytrain, the fastest and easiest way to move around the city. The Skytrain in Bangkok is known for its convenience, clean stations, and amazing elevated views over the streets. Traveling along the Sukhumvit Line and Silom Line gives you a great look at major areas like Siam, Asok, Phrom Phong, and Sala Daeng. You’ll get a clear feel for how the public transportation in Bangkok works and what it’s like to use it as a visitor. I stayed at a hotel in Phaya Thai, close to the red and green line.
Throughout the day, I explore different parts of the city on foot. This video captures the unique mix of modern skyscrapers, traditional markets, colorful street vendors, food stalls, and local communities that make Bangkok city life so special. You’ll see Bangkok street food, busy intersections, massive shopping malls, and quieter back streets.
Later in the night, I take the Skytrain back toward my hotel, capturing the city skyline glowing in the dark. Riding the BTS at night offers calm, beautiful views of Bangkok from above—perfect for anyone who loves city night photography, Bangkok skyline shots, and cinematic night atmospheres. The elevated tracks make it feel like you’re floating above the city lights.
In the video you will also see some nice drone shots and and overview of the city.
