The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has tasked Benue Artistes to be hardworking, committed and persevere amid challenges they may encounter in the cause of pursuing their careers.

Governor Ortom made the call at the Government House, Makurdi, when he hosted Benue born Artistes. He stated that for those who had gone out of the state with the hope of developing their musical talents, only perseverance, commitment, and hard work will see them through, pointing out that "nothing good comes easy."
