The Tshwane popular Reggae artist, Carlos Djedje, will be laid to rest today. The singer who was widely known as the father of Reggae music in Africa had the opportunity to perform on stage alongside Peter Tosh in Swaziland in December 1983.
Hailing from Saulsville, west of Pretoria, Djedje's musical career started at the age of ten.
His musical influence transcended borders, captivating audiences worldwide in countries like Japan, Spain, Sweden, Germany and Jamaica among others.
