Hey, fellow artist! In this video, I'm sharing an update on my cigar box leg fiddle or DIY Viola da Gamba prototype. After a few major setbacks—including a broken headstock and string buzzing issues—I've managed to get the build back on track!

Join me as I walk you through the repairs and discoveries I've made, from a risky but effective headstock fix to figuring out the proper neck projection for a playable instrument. I also experiment with new strings, different fret materials, and share a quick demo so you can finally hear what this leg fiddle sounds like. The journey has been full of challenges, but I've learned a ton along the way.
