The French Song Exchange has been devised by François le Roux and Dame Felicity Lott, with Wigmore Hall’s Director John Gilhooly. Young singers from the UK and France are selected by audition to receive coaching over a number of months aimed to further their knowledge and appreciation of French song. For this masterclass, hosted by Dame Felicity Lott, the singers were asked to prepare one song by Fauré and another song of their choice.
