The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has pledged to look into the concerns of artistes regarding a new list of regulations for the arts industry. The regulations, crafted by the Uganda Communications Commissions, came to Parliament a few weeks ago. Some of the new rules require a permit to perform, and bar a person from engaging in commercial photography without a license.
