After you open an image, choose Levels or Curves in the adjustment layer. Either adjustment will work for this quick fix because they both have Auto options. Turn on this Snap Neutral Mid-tones section choose the third option, Find Dark & Light Colors, and tick the box to turn it on. and then click ok.
