Fête de la Musique: More Than Music with Koco [SP Jain x Amchi]

About Koco -
Koco is one of India’s most popular and well-respected guitar players and has been a part of the indie music scene in India since 1986, having been a part of some popular bands then. From the years 1991-2002 he was the primary composer and lead guitar player of the yesteryears hugely popular hard-rock band Agni.
Koco’s passion for music and undying love for the guitar reflects in all aspects of the music created by him. He has worked across regional film industries, composing hits for Kannada movie Samara, sung by the late Dr Rajkumar, Marathi film Shala which got the MTV Video Music Award, theme song for Avengers and many Hindi and English numbers.

This is a part of our cross-campus 3 day Virtual SPJ LIVE Music Fest, Fête de la Musique in line with International Music Day between 16th – 19th June. Hosted by our Undergrad Arts & Culture club students, this event is a collaboration between SP Jain Global & Amchi Kingdom. The 3-day fest will showcase fun events like musical trivia night (Students), a live series of student-led moderated interviews & masterclasses that are focused on learning about the business of music and the evolving industry in this new normal – featuring alumni and global community artists in our “More than Music” segment. The final day will be a ‘Festune’ of performances by our much loved student talent, alumni and community artists.
