The Argentine fans experienced a rollercoaster of emotions on Friday following the World Cup quarter-final match beating the Netherlands only after 120 minutes on the field and a round of penalties.
Thousands gathered in Buenos Aires' Palermo park and other squares around the country to follow the performance of the team led by world football star Lionel Messi.
The match finished 2-2 after extra time.
Messi scored one goal for Argentina and set up another.
On the 11th of the second-half of the stoppage time, the Netherlands tied the match.
Messi converted his penalty in the shootout and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez saved two attempts.
Lautaro Martinez scored the clinching penalty.
Argentina will play Croatia in the semifinals on Tuesday.
