Korean artist Kim Tschang-yeul , best known for his 'water droplet' paintings, died on Tuesday at the age of 91.
Through his abstract paintings, Kim tried to capture the pain and turmoil he felt during the Korean war and Korea's post-colonial era.
His 'water droplet' paintings have been displayed across the globe, and in more than 60 private exhibitions.
He leaves behind a wife and two sons.
