IDW and writer Christian Ward aren't quite done with Event Horizon yet. Nearly 30 years after the release of the cult classic, Ward has been going hog wild with the prequel comic Dark Descent. But it ain't over until Paimon says it's over, and they're keeping the demonic party going with an official sequel, Event Horizon: Inferno.

Set 200 years after the events of the movie, Ward will team up with artist Rob Carey to bring an entirely different look at cosmic horror. And based on the covers at least, to misquote Robbie Williams: you'll be loving angels instead.

Event Horizon: Inferno #1 hits stores in April of 2026.
