The creation of the Souffle album would not have been possible without my meeting with Giovanni Mirabassi.

A charismatic musician, with such an elegant and tough touch at the same time...

A depth of purpose... A beauty of sound...

The Souffle album was recorded as a quartet, but I wanted to give myself a little extra gift: record a duet title with Giovanni...

A lullaby invented for my daughter when she was born...

I was inspired by the harmonic atmospheres of composers Erik Satie and Claude Debussy to rearrange it.

I took my viola, the instrument thanks to which I met Giovanni ten years ago...

And Giovanni's magical introduction followed a very improvised and spontaneous version of this piece...

I discovered after the recording that André Baille Barrelle, who did the sound recording and the Epk of the album, had filmed the whole piece live from start to the end !

What a beautiful gift... I thank him for it.
