Hey! My new education-based community site is now open! Many of you know me from my 30+ years writing for Bass Player Magazine, Bass Guitar Magazine, Bass Magazine, Bass Gear Magazine... you get the picture. Many of you know me from the 19 titles I've produced for Hal Leonard, the Hal Leonard Bass Method, Building Walking Bass Lines, Slap Bass, etc... And most of you know me from here, Bass WhispererTV, where I've done gear demos and reviews since 2006. Now, imagine a place where all that comes together. My new community site is just that!
I've dug into the archives and brought back a lot of my classic work from the old days of print media, there are gear related pieces, tech articles, transcriptions, unseen video, and tons and tons of educational material drawn from my 45 years of teaching. There are things I've used for private teaching, workshops, and courses I've created for Scott's Bass Lessons, and Hudson Music that are now back under my control. There are full length courses—6 so far with more on the way, and two of them are absolutely free. If you want directed study, the courses do that, if you want to rummage around a huge space full of bass goodies of all sorts and maybe find something cool to practice, or just read about—you can do that too! It's like having a bass magazine AND a bass school all in one place.
For the price of a one hour lesson, you get access to thousands of hours of practice material, and if you just want to hang, look around, and be more casual in your approach—EFBWC is great for that too! There's so much up there, and more on the way every week. This is material you won't find anywhere else, or from anyone else. Come hang with us!
