I’ve been curious about this for a long while, but never prioritized the time to test it out. Turns out dual base ISO totally applies to photos, as well as video - but there’s a difference between JPG and RAW…

**keep in mind, I did not test dynamic range, so I really don’t know if the second circuit has less than the first or vice-versa.

Overall, this is a pretty interesting discovery imo and something I’m no doubt going to be taking advantage of moving forward…although, does it even matter when modern AI noise reduction is so good? probably not lol

Maybe y’all already knew this, but tbh, I’ve never seen anybody talk about it ????‍♂️
