These alliums are called summer drummer. With a drummer in the house we had to give it a go.
Of course I wasn't gong to cut the heads of the flowers before they even flowered. So we taped some open alliums that had finished for this year. With the spacing of the seed heads I expected to get a brush effect.
They didn't last too long!
