This course is designed to give you the start you need playing snare drum in a marching band, drum corps, or even indoor drumline environment. If you have never played any marching percussion before, this will introduce you to the standard techniques and exercises you will typically be expected to perform and master over the course of your time in the activity. By completing this course you will have a strong understanding of the demands required, as well as the techniques and primers used to master them to play in a drumline! ????

ABOUT ADAM KUNS

Adam Kuns is a powerhouse percussionist, educator, and Drum Channel Staff Instructor since 2013. A graduate of CSUN’s Jazz Studies program and former Jazz “A” Band member, Adam has performed, composed, arranged, and directed across a multitude of genres. He’s a driving force in the marching world, having worked with DCI, WGI, and elite high school programs like Dark Sky Percussion, Watchmen, and Velvet Knights.
