Hey folks, in this drum beats lesson, I am going to take you through some linear groove ideas. Linear simply meaning that you will only play a single voice at a time and nothing will overlap. We will also use a method called the "2 sound level concept" which was originally presented in David Garibaldi's famous book, "Future Sounds". By using this method to play your groove's, I have found patterns sink in a lot quicker and can really add dimension to your playing.
