TWELVE THOUSAND AND TWENTY

The first two representations were held at la Comédie de Genève in March 2021
The project originated from a research residency led at Campus Biotech, in the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (SCAS) laboratory. The residency was initiated as part of a partnership between Campus Biotech and Flux Laboratory.
The project was awarded with an Agora by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)

In collaboration with Didier Grandjean, ordinary Professor in Neuropsychology of Emotion and Affective Neurosciences at the department of Psychology at the University of Geneva, Campus Biotech and NCCR Evolving Language.

TWELVE THOUSAND AND TWENTY
Embodied utopia, to the sound of full consciousness
What if, in a very slow evolutive process, humanity became one, one body, merged with its environment? A sensitive body, capable of perceiving the invisible, of communicating with the species sharing its existence and of tuning its heartbeats to the rhythm of plants and animals? TWELVE THOUSAND AND TWENTY sets the body in a reconciled future, ten thousand years from now, in a holistic era where everyone would be able to vibrate with the world by carefully listening to the living.
