This video captures a rare Royal Canadian Air Force CP-140 Aurora demonstration during the 2025 Canadian International Airshow (CIAS), flown along the Toronto waterfront and beaches.

During the demo, the aircraft made multiple distinct passes, each highlighting a different aspect of the mission profile:

A gear-down low pass, showcasing slow-speed handling

A pass with mission bays open, offering a rare look at the aircraft in an operational configuration

A high-speed pass, demonstrating the Aurora’s performance and presence

The RCAF CP-140 Aurora plays a critical role in maritime patrol, surveillance, and sovereignty operations, and it’s uncommon to see it flown this openly and dynamically over a civilian setting. Seeing it operate low and fast along the Toronto shoreline offered a unique perspective on an aircraft most people only hear about, not see.
