David, an intelligent but emotionally distant teenager, fears physical touch and struggles with obsessive thoughts. Perturbed, David's overbearing mother places him in a home for mentally disturbed young people. Where he meets Lisa, a young woman with dissociative tendencies who alternates between two distinct personas: one childlike and playful, the other deeply fearful. Despite their challenges, the two form a unique bond that transcends traditional communication, helping each other confront their inner struggles.
