Olivia struggled to hold back her tears once again. She had believed, for the umpteenth time, that everything would be okay. But Felicity and her daughter Nancy would once again expose Olivia as a spoiled girl with a difficult adolescence in front of her father.
"I knew that puberty is a difficult period," Felicity rolled her eyes in front of her upset spouse. "But this is something else! Olivia is spiraling out of control! If only you knew how hard I have to bring her up. It wasn't like this with my Nancy."
"I know you do a lot for Olivia, and I appreciate you for that," Jim spoke with his eyes lowered to the floor. He felt ashamed of his daughter's bad behavior. Olivia has repeatedly tried to convey to him that when he is not at home, stepmother Felicity humiliates her, loads her with endless chores, does not let her study, meet with friends, do her favorite things.
