Artistic Expression has long reflected the essence of the people and in India, the long history of art is based on the religious, social, or political subject matter. Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam influenced the depiction of stories, mythological forms as well as elaborate ornamentation.

India’s vibrant artistic legacy goes back a long way with the earliest known Indian art sculptures produced between 2,500 B.C. and 1,800 B.C. During this time, religious artists also experimented with the creation of vast temples carved in stone and decorated with Greek-influenced columns.
