Seven people including 3 Nigerian artistes have been charged before Makindye court and remanded to Kitalya and Kigo government prisons respectively.
They are being held for conducting a music concert on Saturday 12th/December 2020 at Ddungu Resort in Mulungu in Munyonyo Makindye division, which contravened COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
The Nigerians, 23-year-old Stanely Omah Didia, 25-year-old Temilade Openyi and their manager Muliwa Awoniyi are jointly charged with 4 Ugandan businessmen and organisers of the concert Ivan Ddungu, Kisakya Phillip, Benjamin Kabuura and a woman Salima Kim.
