Cool ‘Melodic Minor’ Lick For B7 ???????? #shorts #robinnolan

Here’s a really cool lick that sounds awesome over B7.

It comes from the C minor Melodic Minor scale that injects a modern and hip sound when applied to Dominant 7 chords.

The concept is easy to remember because you just play the Melodic minor scale a fret up from the Dominant 7 chord that you’re playing over.

So for B7 that’s C melodic Minor.

Top Tip:
The melodic minor scale is exactly the same as the major scale only with a flattened 3rd.
