Compressor Test! Filling a 5L Tank with Coltri Icon, Multiplus II & Seplos Mason 280 | Snapshot
In this episode, I finally put my Coltri Icon compressor to the test for the first time! Using the Victron Multiplus II inverter/charger and a Seplos Mason 280 LiFePO4 battery, I successfully filled a 5-liter scuba (diving) tank — a big milestone in the electrical and air systems of my 36-foot aluminum adventure sailing boat build.
Join me as I walk through the full setup, wiring, power draw, and compressor performance. This test marks an important step toward making Modular Hippo fully self-sufficient for remote adventure cruising and dive exploration.
???? In this video you’ll see:
Sarting the Coltri Icon compressor for the first time
Powering it through the Victron Multiplus II inverter
Battery performance from the Seplos Mason 280
Filling a 5L scuba tank
Lessons learned for off-grid marine systems
