INJECT THIS SONG STRAIGHT INTO MY VEINS, STAT!
On the music side of things, this song is my everything and my new addiction. Best song in the whole musical thus far and, to be honest, I have a hard time seeing anything topping it, cause it is 110% my vibe, and that's just on a purely musical level.
Bringing in Poseidon this early and directly into the narrative is a great dramatic choice for the adaptation -- and while I did disagree with lots of stuff involving Aeolus throughout this saga, they really had no other choice but the wind bag to explain Odysseus escaping a literal god showing up to mess him up. I still think it's kind of silly, but I think it's fair to say that Jorge kind of wrote himself into a corner there by bringing in Poseidon, and so used the wind bag as a convenient way out. Look, if I gotta head-tilt at that particular detail in order to get a song like this, then I'll take it.
A whole saga of consequences has now completed, and we're off to meet the ever beguiling Circe!
